The Parsvnath Commonwealth Championship 2010 took place in 9th-18th May, 2010, Delhi, India. This event was open and players from outside the commonwealth also competed. Pavel Maletin finished first on tie-break from RR Laxman who took the actual Commonwealth title (according to the rules of the tournament), both finished on 9/11.
With equal 8.5 point, on tie-break GM Abhijeet Gupta finished 3rd, GM Dmitry Bocharov 4th and IM M.R. Lalith Babu 5th place.
Few Bangladeshi chess players also competed in this tournament (among them were GM Niaz Murshed and GM Enamul Hossain). GM Enamul Hossain earned equal 8 points with 14 other players (6-19), but on tie-break he finished 15th. Here is hossain's game from the tournament:
